I write picture books, novels, and magazine stories. I'm also recording postcard-sized oral histories told
by people around my corner of the world, New Hampshire's Seacoast. I promote literacy with newcomers to the U.S.who are resettling their families here from
other countries. The families have also brought me into folk stories from around the world. Please visit my blog, The
